Fix Up Your Sex Life

Sexual Healing - Hot Chip

Hot Chip has done it again. The trippy 80's/90's sound mixed with electronic glitches and the insane high pitched vocals of Alex Taylor add a sound that is rarely found lately.
When I was heading home on the bus, I had my iPod on shuffle and this song came on. I had never really entirely listened to it but when I got further and further into the song Hot Chip just entangled me in their beauty.

Take a listen to this song. And for all you Coachella goers... Get pumped.

Four tet does it again

Love Cry- Four Tet

Four Tet has always been a huge musical inpiration to me. Him Flying Lotus, Samiyam, and Take are really in a league of their own. I was so excited to hear that Four Tet had a new album coming out and when I heard tracks off of it, I was even more pleased. It's just as good as anything he has put out in the past. It's really good to hear fresh new electronic music, after awhile I get kind of bored of the dance music that is dominating the electronic genre right now.

Hallelujah

For all those who have not yet seen:

Andrew birds long lost brother

I get serious Andrew Bird Vibes from Owen Pallet's stuff. Although his music could never have the amount of depth that Andrew Bird's music has. Owen Pallet does a fine job here. His album is called Heartland, and its pretty good.

MIND MELTERS

Have you ever listened to a song and just been speechless? Unaware of what you just heard? this playlist is dedicated to that sensation you get when you hear something fucking crazy. Or when a song has such a profound effect on you that you get cold sweats or begin to pace around the room.

Hazelton- Justin Vernon

Justin Vernon also known as Bon Iver has done it again, he's just one of those guys you wish was your best friend. His lyrics appeal to everyone. godammit he's good. His knew stuff isn't as gut wrenchingly emotional as For Emma Forever ago is but it gets the job done.

Cut Copy- Lights and Music (Boyz Noize Happy Birthday Remix)

I was digging through my hype machine account today and I had randomly book marked this song back in november. wondering what it was I played it, and was soon attacked by a flurry of pleasant sounding beats. I've never liked Boyz Noize but he does a pretty good job on this track

Homelessly in love

This is my favorite version of creep

Toner (Music Video) - Cornelius

Such a brilliant music video. Cornelius is definitely one of my favorites at the moment. I've been obsessing over the myspace page. Hope you enjoy.

Quick TIP.

HAI everyone. Just a quick little note from us to you...

Vampire Weekend is nearing the release of their new album AND lucky for all of us they have the entire album up on their myspace! You should definitely check it out. The new songs up there are incredible. CHECK IT OUT > YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

NATURE PHOTOS ARE THE BEST.

Well I'm just in a pretty musical mood right now and I'm always in the mood to share so I picked a few tracks that I've just been saving for the past few days.

I've been listening to a lot of The Knux's music, and the electronic beats they lay down under their lyrics is so perfect. The beats they create are some of the best of the new year. They've got their whole sound completely nailed. I'm really enjoying the stuff they've put out so far.

I just want to start off saying that I'm a fan of every work The Twelves have produced. They know exactly what they're style is. I can always expect something new and following the same style from them. Remixing Fleet Foxes seems like it would end up in disaster, but The Twelves took very gentle care and remixed this classic very carefully. The result was beautiful.
The title kind of explains itself. These are some of my favorite Hip Hop tracks. To me these songs illustrate the many different abilities from some of my favorite Hip Hop artists.

Babylon?

Edward Sharpe - Kisses Over Babylon video.

A beautiful narrative/music video. Very well executed. Enjoy.

UPular

For all of you who haven't seen this yet, Pogo, the genius behind those musical remixes sampling audio from films, just released this new mix. I think it speaks for itself. Enjoy.

Summer Clothes- Animal Collective

Animal Collective has crafted a new genre of music. I think this album single handedly started a new form music. I would go as far as to say that this album will go down as one of the most influential albums of the decade. HAPPPY NEW YEAR
